Fourth Board of the Allied Health Professions Council hold
Inaugural Meeting.

The Allied
Health Professions Council (AHPC) has held its maiden Governing Board meeting,
marking an important milestone in the Council’s work to strengthen regulation
and service delivery in Ghana’s health sector.
The two-day meeting, which ran from 2nd to 3rd August 2025 at the AHPC Conference Room, brought together the newly inaugurated Board members to set the tone for the Council’s work in the years ahead.

The Allied
Health Professions Council regulates over 22 categories of allied health
practitioners across the country. Its work is central to safeguarding standards
and protecting the public, particularly as Ghana continues to expand access to
health care.
The maiden meeting signals the Board’s commitment to ensuring the Council is not only effective in its regulatory role but also forward-looking in addressing the evolving needs of allied health practice
